## Sous Chef required for Temp to Perm role in Boutique Hotel, Kensington We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join a small and friendly kitchen team at a boutique hotel in the Kensington area. This role starts on a temporary basis and is intended to become permanent for the right person. You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality dishes, maintain kitchen standards and support smooth daily service. ### Role overview Job Title: Sous Chef Location: Kensington, London Pay: £18.50 per hour Rota: Wednesday to Sunday, 14:00 to 23:00; 40 hours per week Once permanent: £40,000 per year + service charge ### Key Responsibilities - Assisting the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen - Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistent standard - Supporting menu development and seasonal changes - Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety - Training and guiding junior staff when needed - Ensuring smooth and efficient service during busy periods ### Requirements - Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a hotel or quality restaurant environment - Strong cooking skills and good knowledge of fresh, seasonal ingredients - Ability to work well under pressure and maintain attention to detail - Positive, reliable and team-focused attitude - Right to work in the UK ### Benefits - Temp to perm route offering stable long-term role - Competitive pay and service charge once permanent - Supportive working environment in a well-regarded boutique hotel - Opportunity to influence menus and grow professionally Apply Now! ### . . .
