We are currently looking for experienced Kitchen Porters to join the catering team within a prestigious private hospital in the Chelsea area. This is an ongoing opportunity offering daytime shifts and a flexible rota, making it ideal for candidates looking for regular work with a good work-life balance. ### Shift Details Role: Kitchen Porter Location: Chelsea London Pay Rate: between £12.71 – £14.00 per hour Shifts Available: Various day, evening, and weekend shifts between Monday and Sunday; Daytime shifts, Flexible rota, Ongoing work As a Kitchen Porter, you will work as part of an established kitchen team, supporting the chefs with daily kitchen duties and helping to maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment. ### Key Responsibilities - Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes - Keeping kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised - Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required - Cleaning and maintaining work surfaces and kitchen equipment - Assisting with deliveries and storing food correctly - Disposing of waste in line with hospital procedures - Following HACCP, allergen, food safety and hygiene procedures - Supporting the wider kitchen team with daily duties ### Requirements - Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or similar role - Experience within a hospital, healthcare, care home, hotel or professional kitchen is preferred - Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety - Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team - Good communication skills - Ability to work in a structured and professional kitchen environment - Valid DBS Enhanced required ### Benefits - Regular shifts available - Professional private hospital environment - Opportunity for consistent, long-term work - Support from our recruitment team If you are an experienced Kitchen Porter looking for regular daytime work with the flexibility to choose your availability, we would love to hear from you. ### . . .
